Epcot on May 5th

Does anyone know what's going on at Epcot on May 5, 2006.

When you look at the hours on this site, they say no Illuminations, and that the park is only open until 7; But it is emh in the Evening.

I know in 2005 they closed Epcot for the special events with the start of the 50th celebration, but why this year?

Hi there,

It is normal operating hours for Epcot on May 5th (with EMH), I have double checked the hours on the Disney Travel Agents website and also on Tour Guide Mike.

It's GRAD night at the MK so everyone who usually would be there will probably be @ Epcot. I for one will be at MGM on the 5th - Can't wait

Are you sure you're seeing all the hours for Epcot. They now list the two sides of the parks separately (since WS started opening later), Future World hours at 9am-7pm and World Showcase as 11am-9pm....although for 5/5/06 is does say WS is only open until 7pm and NONE for Illuminations. I believe the WD hours and mention for Illuminations is an oversight. Disney's calender shows that WS is open until 9pm and that Illuminations is at 9pm.
