We will be in Epcot for 2 days and would like suggestions for sit down lunches. We do not really want food to go. Any really good restaurants you would recommend?:earsgirl:

We really like the Garden Grill at The Land. Really the only other places we've eaten were the counter service at Mexico & China. We liked both of those - good not wonderful - but I've read many bad reviews for both of those.

We always have one lunch at Le Cellier Steakhouse in the Canada pavillion, and we've never been disappointed. We've also done the San Angel Inn (Mexico) for lunch and that was great too, although the service was 'relaxed' - didn't bother us but it might if you were in a hurry.

I agree with Chipster, check out the menus on allearsnet.com and you can get a good idea of what Epcot has to offer. :)

Another vote for Le Cellier!! Love that cheese soup and pretzel bread, YUM!! ::yes::

If you have kids, Garden Grill has good food and great character interaction, but the Land is undergoing rehab in the near future so you might make sure it's open before you arrive. We've eaten dinner at Le Cellier and it was fabulous. We're also fans of Alfredo's. You'll get lots of opinion, so I'm with others who've mentioned checking out the menus at All Ears.

Another vote for Chefs de France. They have a luncheon special that makes it one of the best buys for lunch.

We love Marrakesh in Morocco, esp if you want something a bit different then your regular dining fare =) Very yummy, relaxing and laid back environment, beautifully decorated, and entertainment! (band and belly dancer)

Memorable meals, for sure =)

I sound like a broken record as Ive said this on a zillion threads here

but try marrakesh

we have eaten lunch there twice, the food is incredible....and both times we've been at that time of day, the restaurant is DEAD...so its a great break from the crowds.

Another vote for La Cellier. One of our favorite places to eat in WS. The food is great and service is exceptional. We cannot recall a bad meal there.

Marrakesh is great. My DH and I love to eat there - lunch or dinner. Also, think about Rose and Crown. We've eaten lunch there several times. Not great food, but comfort food as far as we are concerned.

My votes would be:

1) San Angel - Mexico
2) Alfredo's - Italy
3) Coral Reef - by the Land
4) China

Enjoy! And let us know where you went and what you thought when you get back!

Biergarten and Marrakesh are must do's on our list

Our favorite Epcot lunches this last trip were Chefs de France (awesome lunch special, and everything else for that matter) and the Tangierine Cafe. You can dine outside in a beautiful setting at Tangierine, and their Shwarma (sp?) platters are delicious and plentiful!!!

I would suggest Le Cellier or Alfredo's for sit down meals. I agree with Flyball that Tangierine Cafe has a great Schwarma platter. It's counter service, but they do have lots of room inside as well as a pretty place outside to eat.

Our must do lunch is Canada for cheese soup and pretzel bread.

Also Morocco is very good. My picky eaters had no problem here.
