We will be in Disney 2/22-2/26. Epcot has always been my least favorite park. I know it has Soarin' which I do enjoy and test track. I know the MK is where my daughter is going to LOVE. So convince me why do we need to visit Epcot.

We went last year with my sister, BIL & their kids ages 4 & 5. They both said it was for grown ups ie...not impressed.

My then 4 yes rood loved Epcot because when walking through the countries she came across Jasmine and Aladdin, Snow White, Belle in her blue dress, Aurora and periwinkle/tinker belle. She had no idea who any of them were so it made for special memories for her.

Nemo ride is cute if you have any Nemo fans....and if they are character fans, you will see many if you hit WS at the right time. Other than that, you are probably right, at those young ages, they might not get too overly excited about much.

Yes we have park hopper. So I guess we could go in the morning to say we went and then go back to MK. I wasn't even impressed with their night show.

Sorry, I can't convince you. I would skip it with kids as young as yours. I would go twice or three times to MK instead. JMO.

Our kids were exactly that age when we first went to Epcot and was at the time, and still is their favourite park. The Kidcot activity is one of the things that really what made it for them. That's where you get to colour a Duffy or Perry on a stick and then get it signed by a representative of each world show case country. They also love the seas with the fish tanks, etc..

If you have a park hopper then it's simple because you won't feel obligated to spend an entire day. Go for Sorin, Nemo and the Mexico boat ride with Donald then park hop somewhere else.

My 2 five years olds loved it. We got a passport for them to get signed. Did kid cot. They met princesses. Mom and Dad had a few drinks. A good time was had by all.

I think it depends on your children. My children were those ages seven years ago, but they enjoyed the Kidcot and having their names written in different languages. Soarin' is fun. Nemo ride, Living Seas, Turtle Talk with Crush, Spaceship Earth were fun for them. Do your children enjoy children's museums and interactive things? That might make a difference in how much time you spend there. I found it a relaxing day for us. After running around MK, AK, HS it was nice to stroll from KidCot to KidCot meeting characters and looking at things. My 2 year old took a long and much needed nap in the stroller that day.

Mine loved it at that age ..... And you need epcot simply for the food!

Your title asks if it's a "must do." You mention going to "say you went." I think you may be answering your own question. If you don't particularly like Epcot, you don't like it. No harm, no foul. Not every park is for everyone. Personally, I don't particularly care for HS. It's the favorite park for a couple family members, so we always go. But without TSMM, I can totally pass on HS. To each his own!

A Must Do, probably not. But, since you have park hoppers, you could hit a few things your little ones might like, then head to Magic Kingdom.

We went last December with our then 5 and 2 year old they both loved it we did 2 days we could have done 1 though. My 5 year old loves test track and soarin. They both loved nemo & figment. Plus the kid cots are fun for them too. I think it's worth it to go.

Maybe just go for a breakfast (I recommend Akershus with your little ones!) or lunch, and then see if there's anything you want to see or do afterwards. If not, you can go to a different park or chill out back at your hotel for a little bit :)

Our boys- 5&2- LOVE Epcot!! The younger son was very excited about Nemo, turtle Talk, the Land, the Mexico Donald ride, Imagination, and Biergarten!! Of course MK is the best- but I wouldn't discount Epcot- we had a blast there!!

We took our daughter to Disneyland when we was 2 almost 3; she enjoyed Turtle Talk. I didn't realize that was in Epcot. I've not been to WDW since 2009 and this is our first trip with kids. I need to look into Kidcot that everyone has mentioned as I have no idea what that is.

DD has always loved EP since she was little 5?, princesses, countries, TT, Soarin, Kidcot, Nemo, and what was Kim Possible (now Phineas and Ferb?)

World Showcase opens later than Future World, so plan accordingly. Hope you have a great time!
