Next year's Epcot International Food and Wine Festival will run for 45 days, up from the 30 days offered this year.
"Each year, Disney hosts the largest, longest wine fest in the world, and as demand for the food and wine events increased, the time to grow even more for our Guests has come. "Come next year, the festival will expand by 15 additional days and run from Oct. 1 through Nov. 14, 2004."

This year's event, which features several hundred wineries from around the world and 26 international marketplaces, will run through Nov. 16.

Yes it is good news. Except for the fact that my dream is to go down to WDW for the entire F&W festival and take in every wine and food seminar, and all the special events and the longer festival just makes it that much tougher LOL

From what has been said, the FL laws have changed to allow for longer permits for temporary alcohol and food stands, so Disney is taking advantage of the longer permits.

I wish they'd lower the food prices at the F&W. It was so expensive for the puny little portions you got. I liked the small portion sizes, so that you could sample a lot, but not at those prices. So, I didn't really savor the event as I had wanted to. Instead it was very crowded and a lot of drunk people later in the evenning. I overheard one woman said that you needed to start with the margaritas in Mexico, as they were great and very potent. Just a tip I overheard and will pass along.
