Could anyone give me suggestions on what is a good time to go see the Flower and Garden Festival? I mean, we were planning on going to WDW and being there a few days before it started. Is that a good time? We would like to be there when there isn't a lot of people( like at Spring Break). Thanks for the input!:worried:;)

Staff at Disney recommended waiting until after the second week, but crowds weren't bad when we went in the first two weeks. Loved it the first time we went. Not so much the next year because things looked old - lots of repeats.

I've been during f&g a few times and in my opinion it is getting busier each year. I agree that during the week is better and during the day (as opposed to evening) is less crowded - especially since they'd added the food last year (or was it the year before)?

That said I don't thing the festival has as much of an impact on crowds as the fact it's spring break time.

I have visited F&G for several years now, and agree with most of what is being said. The traffic from locals on top of the vacationers is what fills the park, so weekends are far busier and some evenings. Planning to go on week days is your best bet. The first week is a bit heavier but it is not too much of a problem.
Have fun

We are planning on going the second weekend in May. I'm hoping even though it's a weekend, the crowds will have died down a little since Spring Break will be over & it will be towards the end of F&G...??:confused3
