Epcot Illuminations Song

After my recent trip to Disney World, I fell in love with the illuminations song. I think it's called "Promise". She sounded like Celine Dion but I don't think it was her. The song gave me goosebumps as it played while I left Epcot. It just sounded so perfect. Anyone have any info?

I love that song too. In fact, we're thinking about it for our wedding song. I'm not sure who sings it, but I know it's not Celine Dion.

I think Kellie Coffey sang it. I have it on my Millenium Celebration CD. I think you can still get it on an EPCOT CD. I always thought it would make a beautiful wedding song.

I love this song! It would make a great wedding song.

I might be wrong, but I actually think it IS called "The Promise." "We Go On" is the short song in the middle of Illuminations. It is very similar.

No, your right. They are both sung by Kellie Coffey. And they sound very similar. A lot of people use "Promise" as their wedding song. You really can't use "We Go On" because its set up for the fireworks.

That is a beautiful song. I didn't think it was still for sale -- but will admit I tried to get it AFTER my visit so was not on-site. I forget now what Disney offered to me instead that was similar (NOT!) ... well - it was probably nice but didn't have the songs I wanted.

Anyway ... it is on Amazon for $27 (used). ARG! So ... if anyone does happen to know if it is on sale at Epcot would they PM me where they saw it! I am hopefully (fingers crossed) planning a short trip in November since I had to cancel my Feb one!

They should have the Illuminations CD in any of the gift shops. Not just Epcot. I think I've seen it in other parks and DTD at World of Disney. Look in the CD DVD section of the gift shops.

The IllumiNations CD that I have has both 'We Go On' and 'Promise' (both performed by Kellie Coffey) on. I've only ever heard 'We Go On' in the parks, so I would imagine that would be the one you're thinking of. And if it's not, 'Promise' is on the CD too!

They play "We Go On" during Illumination and "Promise" after, sort of as Illuminations exit music!

Do a search on that song I downloaded it from here last year sometime.

" We go on" is played during illuminations and "the Promise" is played right after when everyone is leaving.

I believe that Kellie Coffey also sings a beautiful song on the "Magic in the Streets" CD under Suite of Dreams - Fantasy - called "When you Imagine" she has a lovely voice and it is one of my favourites songs on the CD

These are indeed beautiful songs, our daughter grew up enjoying WDW, doing the college program and then moving to Florida for a year and working for disney again, and she had these songs played at her wedding. We also had the words printed our on the guests tables so they could follow along. Hearing the song and understanding the words brought tears to many an eye during their dance. It will always hold a special place in our hearts, as parents, when ever we hear this song whether in the car or at EPCOT, we get alittle teary eyed remembering that great day and and gathering of so many friends and family to celebrate their marriage and "promise to go on".

We used "Promise" as our first dance song at our wedding, we thought the lyrics were so beautiful and a perfect song for a wedding. I bought the Illuminations CD from someone on eBay, but I think you can get it in the parks as well. Promise is the song that they play in the park after Illuminations is over.

I am trying to the music that begins right after Promise. Its basically the last song they play before Epcoy closes.

Its mostly instumental with some da, da...d, da,de da da da's being sung. Does anyone have a clue what this is?
