Epcot IG Rope Drop on Marathon Day?

Anyone know what time IG opens today at Epcot? It’s marathon day and we are trying to get to Poly from Boardwalk. Thinking best route is monorail to TTC with all the road closures. Thanks!

The IG is open (for guests entering and exiting) in "sync" with the Epcot front gate.
(Figure approx. 8:45am, give or take.)

Yup.
However, you may or may not be able to go all the way to the front gate/monorail station until straight-up "opening time."

Do you think this is our best method to get there with all the road traffic/closures due to the marathon?

You've likely already made your decision by the time I post this, but...
I'd take the resort bus to MK. The runners should be off of the roads by the time you want to get to the Poly.

We ended up going through Epcot. For the future, we couldn’t walk via the Boardwalk. We had to take the boat to IG since the bridge was blocked for runners. We could have walked to the Beach Club walkway and that would have worked.

The walk through Epcot was fine. Monorail was fine, but the traffic getting in to TTC looked crazy. And TTC was crazy. Not sure how it compared to an average day, but we made it to Poly for breakfast and to the park for our fastpass.
