Epcot Friendship Launch

I need to know some info about the Friendship Launch you can take across the water in Epcot. I know there are two different launches (one on each side)- one goes to Morocco, one goes to Germany. My question is, is it one boat that keeps making the trip back and forth, or does each side have more than one launch? We are planning to take the launch before a PS @ Marakesh, and my DH will be meeting us there if he is early, or after lunch at the dock in Canada when we return. If he gets on a launch to meet us, is there a chance we'll cross in the middle?

I believe it is one launch for each side--total or two launches but they only go to their designated stops.

Unless you can catch the launch a few minutes before it leaves the dock it is quicker to walk. But, it is a long walk across the lake to the far end and the boat is very relaxing.

They've redone the course that they take. They are now making a circle of the lake skipping the Germany dock. There were 2 boats on the lake last night.

I don't know whether they run counter clockwise or not. However, what time is your PS?

I believe the boats stop running after Illuminations has been set up.

Our PS is for lunch (12 noon). Was thinking the launch would save on walking and get us there without distraction! We will be touring the World Showcase on a later day, and thought the launch would be a nice preview. How long does it take to do the circle?

It is counterclockwise.

The Germany dock is closed for repair.

It takes about 20 minutes to do the circle.
