Epcot for EMH or early ADRs?

I'm trying decide which days to go to which parks. I would like to take my kids to Akershus for the princess character dining. Right now I have the choice of an 8am ADR to Akershus with the park opening at 9am OR I can go to an EMH 8am rope drop and then go to Akershus for lunch at noon. Either way, we will probably exit the park around 1pm to go back to our hotel room for a nap. We are only planning on spending one day at Epcot, and unless the wait for Elsa and Anna significantly decreases, they are not going to be on our to-do list.

Does anyone have advice or an opinion they'd be willing to share? Which would you pick? Thanks!

If you want to do both Soarin and Test Track, then morning EMH is the way to go.

Under the 8am ADR plan, you could have FP+ for either Soarin or Test Track, but you will face a long wait for the other one by the time you get to it after the ADR.

For our trip in July, we are doing an 8am ADR at Akershus park opening at 9. And doing EMH 8am RD at MK with 10:40 ADR at CP. My thoughts are getting into EP early...and at MK taking advantage of EMH, and eating while everyone is just starting to stroll in. Hoping this works out as planned! Although this is my 6th disney trip, it's my first uber plan.
