The picky eater is my husband, not a child. We usually eat at the Garden Grill, but since we aren't bringing the kids this trip, I'm looking for something else. He will eat a variety of meats, fish and veggies, but doesn't like a lot of sauces. He needs to be able to see and identify the foods he is eating. I am considering two possibilities for a late lunch, either Le Cellier or Biergarten. Le Cellier definitely has a few things on the menu he will eat, but it doesn't really sound any different than a restaurant we could go to at home. Biergarten sounds more fun, but I worry if he will enjoy the food. What do you think?

We have a few picky eaters, and they like Morocco - we usually go for lunch. The kids like the kabobs and the adults like the lamb - not alot of sauces. The belly dancers are different too. :)

We have picky eaters in our family and have eaten in every TS place there. The only one we had problems with was Akerhause (spelling?). He should be able to find something any place you choose to eat. Check the menu on allears.net and decide with him before you make ADRs. Have fun. Jenn.

Le Cellier is your best bet, but if you are looking for something different try Chefs de France. They have always been very accomodating and they have really good shoestring french fries. But besides that they have steak and chicken and will usually adjust them to your liking.

i haven't been to a wdw restaurant that hasn't accommodated me for being picky or my allergies. i never get sauce on my meat, i normally subsitute the veggie for something else.... they're always great!!

ex: san angel inn--plain steak and rice on a plate.... YUM!
ex: chefs de france--burger, plain, no bun and fries.... DOUBLE YUM!!
ex: nine dragons-- didn't have to make changes here... just yum!!
ex: teppan edo--- didn't get veggies or mushrooms! great experience!!

i think you would enjoy teppan edo :)

I have food issues and the most common thing for me to do is ask for something without sauce. He shouldn't have a problem getting plain meat/veggies. There is an email for food related issues that you could send a note to. You will find it on the DISabilities board. They are super helpful about what the possibilities are for substitutions for everything from vegetarians to allergies. I would say pick a restaurant that the rest of you will enjoy and then contact WDW to see about options for your DH!

Your husband is not that picky, trust me. Just about every Disney table service restaurant will be able to help you out without a problem. He can order whatever meat/fish/chicken dish he wants "naked" so no sauce at all. My husband does that all the time. He can also ask to substitute his side dishes as well. My husband will always ask for something other than whatever "seasonal" vegetable is offered. Most of the time, he can get rice or fries or another potato option.

Nope, a picky eater isn't one until he orders a salad without anything but lettuce, cheese, crutons and extra dressing. Yes, I do love my husband but he's not that great eating when it's not a burger and fries.
