I called earlier today too, and they said they had no idea when it would be available. You'd think with them starting to take reservations at 8am tomorrow they would at least know the status!

There is another thread with links to the demos/seminars that just came out on the dvc site. 2013 Food & Wine Festival.
Good luck!

I called around 4pm to 407-WDW-FEST, and they were able to give me the specifics (finally!).:cool1:

You are all so wonderful. Thanks for this information.

Now I can start planning:yay:

Is there anywhere to find out the schedule for book signings?

Not that I've seen yet, but if I trip across it I'll post it here. 30 minute hold time when we called this morning, but we were able to get the mixology seminar for the date we wanted. Yippee! :cool1:

Not yet, but eventually they'll be listed in the daily schedule of activities. One possible clue is from the special events and culinary demo schedules. Many of the celebrity chefs have book signings and they are usually on or within a day or two of their other appearances at F&W.

In past years wristbands for the book signings were available the morning of the signing and were on a first come first serve basis.

help on itinerary for demos....looking to book a culinary demo at 1pm. Time can't be changed as we want to see the chef booked at this time. Also with how I have the remaining days planned I can't move downtown disney to a different day.

my park plan for the day....
epcot in morning w/rope drop then head over to downtown disney around noon/1pm for lunch and shopping, then head over to hollywood studios around 3ish (dinner book at mama melrose at 550pm).

what if I switch it to....
downtown disney in the morning with lunch around 11am then head over to epcot for the demo at 1pm, and then head over to hollywood studios around 3ish.

maybe my problem is that I over plan everything (which I know I do lol)...thoughts suggestions...do I not book the demo and leave my plan as is or do I change everything....idk what to do...

You need more time between an 11 AM lunch and a demo at 1. You have to get from DTD, through the magical "unreliable" turnstyles etc...

Actually this whole day sounds bad. Are you driving? If so it's 'marginally doable, but.... remember the parking mess at DTD now.

IMHO you need to drop one of the three places from your day. Otherwise you are spending as much time getting to and from parks as you are in them.

your right which is my dilemma. We'll be at the mercy of the "just missed the bus"...not sure where to fit downtown disney on a 3 day schedule

You have to remember that you cannot take a bus from DTD to Epcot.

So what you'd be doing most likely is taking a bus to one of the Epcot resorts. That bus stops at 5 different resorts and the ones closest to Epcot (Beach Club and Boardwalk) are the last stops. If Typhoon Lagoon is open the bus would also stop there.

When you get to Epcot you would be entering the International Gateway, which is on the opposite side of the entire park from the Festival Center, where your seminar will be held.

You will need a LOT of time to get from DTD to the Festival Center by bus. If you are OK with taking a taxi, you can get one from DTD to the front of Epcot.
