I thought so, but they actually put me on hold, "looked into it", and came back with that reply. I wish there was more consistency. (I won't even go into the hassles and confusion I had when we booked the premium package! Lol)

I think the CM's are probably confusing the snack credits with the Sampler & Premium Package entitlements. Apples & oranges. We know the entitlements can be used for alcohol, we just don't know the exclusions.

So I'm trying to decide if getting the QS dining plan (and trading the vast majority of the credits in for snack credits to use at the booths) makes sense for our trip next month. I've called Disney twice and have been told twice that wine and beer qualify as a snack & I can use a snack credit to pay for them. However, it's always been my understanding that beer & wine are never included in any dining plan, nor is there a purple snack icon next to wine/beer offerings on the menu boards. Anyone have an explanation as to why cm's say I can, but the signage says otherwise?

Sigh. You know the drill.......consistency is not something I would say prevails among CMs.

We leave tomorrow! We have weekday select passes so we are relaxing at the hotel and at disney springs tomorrow and Sunday. Will be at Epcot on Monday. We bought one of the sampler packages. My husband and I don't care about the concert and I wanted the pin, my plan is to use the sampler to buy the steak in Canada and any other expensive drinks. (i'm assuming the flights are out) Then we are going to get a gift card to spend on the other less expensive items. Hoping this is the way to get the most bang for our buck.

Can anyone confirm whether the F&WF merchandise is in the stores? If so, where (Festival Center, MouseGears?)

My husband is in Orlando this weekend and I was going to send him over to Epcot to snag me a Dooney & Bourke tote if they have been released.

Bags are at the Festival Center and the shop at the entrance to the World Showcase.

The DDP icon is not next to the booze and the woman in front of me at Poland had to pay cash for her drink but could use her snack credits for food

It was CRAZY today at lunch. The line to buy stuff at Festival Center want all the way back to where the beverage seminars are. Basically AP holders in line to buy special junke. There was another HUGE line the AP passport stamp I decided a free small wine glass was not worth standing in the heat for half an hour. (And it is HOT today)

Expect huge lines this weekend. The craft beer line was out the door and around the corner. Lines for the popular booths were very long by 12:30 today. I think I am done for the weekend.

I made a spreadsheet with just the food items I thought I'd be interested in and it came up to $130. That is not including the wine or beer. I got full just doing the spreadsheet and by the time I got down to the last few countries I felt like I just couldn't add any more. Given the fact I have a wine seminar booked 3 of the days I'm there, a food demo 3 of the 5 days and a Med. lunch, I'm hoping I'll get enough wine with all those. If I know myself, there will most likely be two more wine seminars I pick up on the fly. Sigh, thank goodness I'm staying at the YC or this could get ugly.

Just picked up our sampler for today. Got told we can use the tabs ANY day of the Festival, and the only exclusion is the flights. Also, you can only pick up your sampler on the day it's for.

ANY Day, wow, I am there 17 days but I bought 3 days of Sampler package (different people are with me on each of those days). If we can spread them out over multiple days that is cool. So, no flights but I guess then any other drinks?

I seriously doubt they will allow you to use the entitlements on the $32 glass of Dom. As for being able to use the tabs any day please let us know how that goes. Is there a date on the individual tabs? Also is there a date on the sampler card?

Hmmm.I asked 3 different CM'S including a Disney Dining Suoervisor in phone calls whether the 8 entitlements had to be used the SAME day, in one day, no carryover to other days and they clearly said YES? Thought somewhere on here there was a link posted on the sampler which stated the same?

Where are we supposed to find the booth numbers? The map that has been posted pre-festival did not have numbers on all the booth locations.

They gave me a card with them, but I can't figure out how to post. Each tab on the lanyard says it expires 11/16/2015. The lanyard itself has the date purchased for, but you only give them the tab not the lanyard.
