Too steep for me but I'd be willing to attend with a little help from a sponsor like Vanity Fair or Viking or ...???
I like the way you think!

Sadly I think some of these "friends" were figments of thier imagination! I saw one couple who was "holding seats" for friends sit alone ALL night until someone BUSTED them on it and htey then pouted and actually complained to a Cast Member that it was thier "honeymoon" LOL!
They just want to block the tables!
Soooooo .... no one's going to the Bocuse Grand Gala?![]()

"Please, for only pennies a day, you can sponsor a foodie."

You are a better woman than me to be able to do a mag between the 2 of you and still be able to write full sentences the next day!![]()
There are definately more wines than beer served. But it has been our experience that you will find beer at a couple stations, as well as vodka sometimes. Again, all parties are different.
Well, remember that the food last year all came from Boma. So, if that's the experience you want, do the South African wine school on Nov. 1 and then go to Boma for dinner. Not sure if you're there then (that's 6 days prior to the Lousiana dinner), but that's probaby the next best thing.
I was thinking with InBev's popular purchase of Busch, that they would probably like to push all their brands. They have a pretty wide portfolio of products, including English, German, Belgian, Brazilian. Fit in nicely with the whole Epcot F&W theme. Just speculation on my part. I know Disney seem to tie themselves up in knots when it comes to products sold in parks, so they might be limited as to what companies can make an appearance.
I'm sure someone will correct me - I do remember reading about Inbev wasnt part of the WDW distribution list - which is why they no longer do the fantastic beer tastings in England - I remember they used to do full bottles of beer per table - 4 beers, one was Stella Ortois (sp?)
this was the reason cited that InBev wont be there - I hope there is a new contract signed and we can see some great beers!! (or whatever the problem was, may it get resolved!)
BRAHMA! I love this stuff! TGI Fridays in the UK sells it (not sure about the US) and it is gorgeous! So much better than CoronaInBev was there last year. Over by the UK. They had Stella, some Brazilan Beer I can't recall
Thank you Gismo1554! I know we'd enjoy it but DH has never been to a Food and Wine festival (I have been to one) and wants to be able to walk around and see everything and go to the booths to sample things. So we will probably do that instead.

I've had (and enjoyed) them both, but for me the perfect balance of price, taste and hops is Bell's Two Hearted Ale. Outstanding stuff, and Bell's is one of the best all-around microbreweries in the country, IMHO.
Having never been to the Festival, I wanted to bring my 19 year old son who is about to start Culinary Art School in January. I know wine and beer is served, but I am guessing that they just won't give him any as I see no age limit to any of these events that have to be paid separately for? Any info would be great, thanks!

The Culinary Arts School here at NMC in Michigan. I just thought the festival would be a great way for him to see outstanding chefs and culinary creations. Do you think he would enjoy it?
