I looked at touringplans.com crowd calendar and Epcot is one of the recomended parks for the 16th, so hopefully the FWF won't add to the crowds that day.

From what has been reported nothing has sold out yet. We called a couple days ago on a few things and every event was still available. The best way to know for sure is to call them if you have one or two in mind! Good luck and have fun!

The October 16th kitchen conversation with Robert Irvine is sold out.

Over the years, DW and I developed a tradition of stopping by the Ireland Booth and getting a glass of O'Mara's Irish Cream to sip on the walk out. Much to our dismay, last year they did not have it!!! Fortunately, we found out soon enough and bought a bottle to keep back at the RV so we could have a glass at the campsite. I would ask that someone check Ireland as soon as they can and see if they include Irish Cream so I will have time to buy a bottle if they do not. Thank you for help with this vital information.

You can find this at any local liquor store for around $6 per bottle. Sam's club had it with the glasses for about $6.99.

My husband and I live in Tampa and are HUGE F&W fans. Tomorrow is our favorite day of the year. I'm in the Nashville airport right now on a layover from Seattle en route home from a business trip. I won't get home till after midnight and I've been gone all week but I am absolutely getting up early and going tomorrow morning and we're spending the weekend! It's what has gotten me through the biz-traveler grind this week.

Can't wait to report back to you all on all the delicious details. Woo hoo!!

Hi guys!!

Just got home, going to have DH scan in at least the countries. We were lucky to run into a couple of EXTREMELY NICE CMs who gave us their booklet that they weren't supposed to (shh), since it was CM soft opening night. Otherwise I wouldn't have anything to share. Thank you CMs!!

We also ran into lurkyloo and DH! How amazing to meet them in person, they're just as good looking as their gorgeous wedding pictures, and very personable to boot!

I did make the executive decision to do the Nine Dragons soft opening since we're going back to FWF tomorrow, though the unfortunate thing was that the booths were closing as we walked out. Verdict on Nine Dragons was PF Changs wanna-be with much smaller portions. Rumored exhibition kitchen doesn't exist.

We did try just a couple booths before we walked in. Cheese booth is nice, a Dutch cheese (the best), an asiago, and a manchego. Sparkling wine pour there was a little wanting.

I'll update with some scans very soon.

If I get antsy tomorrow I'll type it up. But it looks like a LOT of different changes from what's on Deb's, so that makes me happy. No lemon lime beer at Puerto Rico though! I'm going to have to look into how to import it or something

Are these legible enough or should I try to make them clearer?

Edit: oh, and the FWF Gift Cards ARE regular Disney Gift Cards, just FWF themed.

Oh, absolutely! I think that's one of the items I'm looking forward to most.

Wattleseed actually has a chocolate-ish sort of flavor, and is commonly used in BBQ rubs, if I recall correctly.

In the room at OKW and uploading pictures of food. They were serving food for the Food & Wine until about 8. We were actually cut off from getting in line for the German booth Only hit two booths. Plan to do more tomorrow.

Cheese Trio and one wine:

This was good! A good value for the trio too.


Maple Custard

This is really good. My wife doesn't like custard but liked this. Kind of small though.

Cheese Soup cup (or should I say thimbleful?)

Good but tiny.

I am so pumped for Hops & Barley. Sam Adams is my favorite beer, and the Cherry Wheat is my favorite variety. I was hoping they'd bring some Imperial Hallertau though.
