***Epcot Food And Wine Festival Info 2008***

Sometimes people borrow them. If I post them, I have to expect that people will borrow them.

I use Print Shop and Adobe Photoshop Elements.

It would take way too long for me to write out the instructions to PM.

And now...back to the food and wine festival. If you have more questions, please PM me.

We're getting there. You can see that some of the booths are built brand new this year. A lot of them are in their usual places, too. Beautiful day yesterday! And Chefs de France was lovely for dinner.

On a side note, the boards around Nine Dragons have been removed, and the windows uncovered. New carpeting, looks like new chairs/tables, but it was dark so we couldn't tell if that "exhibition kitchen" had been put in. Wouldn't be surprised if the estimation that Nine Dragons would be open at the end of the month turns out to be true.
One of my friends that was at EPCOT mentioned the same thing about Nine Dragons. I'm hoping it will be open by next month :cool1:

Do we even know if there are going to be free wine tastings this year. As someone said previously, there are a lot of things going on in the festival center.

Don't worry the website states

Festival Welcome Center
Visit the hub for all Festival information at the Festival Welcome Center, where you'll also find the Festival Wine Shop, the Wonders Bar for champagne and wine, and the official book-signing location for celebrity chefs and authors. Explore the Stockpot shop featuring marvelous merchandise, including the marketplace cookbook and a special festival edition of the Disney Gift Card, a handy way to pay for so much fun at the Festival! Be sure to check daily schedules posted in the Festival Center for celebrity appearances, culinary demonstrations (every day except on Mondays and Tuesdays) and daily wine tastings.

So I would assume the wine tastings are definately on!

I don't think it's a question of whether or not they'll have free tastings and demonstrations, but whether they'll have as many as they've had in the past. You would think Disney's charging a lot for those opportunities, so maybe we won't see the same kind of cuts we've seen with the special dining events.

:yay: Woo Hoo!! Seeing the pics of the F&W booths popping us around the World Showcase is getting me very excited to partake of the Food & Wine deliciousness:woohoo:

Can't wait for the end of the month when the rest of the details are available. We've been wanting to go to this for years and I am just so excited. The end of October can't come soon enough.

Anyone heard about anything selling out? I have GOT to get on the ball and call tomorrow LOL!

I am going to TRY to do the PFTS on 10/11 and the wine and cheese that afternoon. (Yes I know it's a lot, but.....)

The exhibition kitchen was rumored, but we weren't sure whether it was put in by what we could see.

Here are a couple more:

Nothing terribly exciting looking at them, but I always get a great sense of anticipation the last two weeks of September. I feel energy in the air and the weather starts to get a little balmier. The first picture in this post is the New Orleans booth - the area around it looks interesting! You can see wrought-iron railings in some of the construction.

thanks for sharing the anticipation...you can tell some of the booths are new this year....I have to admit they had become tattered the last several years.

Now if only we could see the full market booth list......

yeah, I know, I have to wait.

this isnt the correct thread but because of when we are going it is the only one im looking at consistantly heres my question if anyone has eaten at Fultons recently ive heard that the food has slipped and it is not as good as it used to be which would be a shame it was the most romantic evening in 2004 for my wife and I and before we go back i would like to know if it would be worth going to again :confused3

You are correct that this is not the right thread. This thread is for discussion of the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, which Fulton's is not a part of - Fulton's is a restaurant at Downtown Disney. Unfortunately I cannot start a thread for you and move your post to it. If you would like information about Fulton's, please start a thread on the main restaurant board.

We won't be at the F&WF for another 4 weeks but I'm getting ready. I read on earlier post about the wine lanyards from Mobile Grape and was wondering if anyone had tried the ones from Vine by Design (theirs have free shipping).

Do they really work? I'd hate to be wearing my wine.
