Fresh USA Pears Take Center Stage at 13th Annual Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival at the Walt Disney World® Resort
Portland, OR- Pear growers from Oregon and Washington have forged a magical relationship with the nation's quintessential family vacation destination. "Where storybook fantasies come to life," the Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival is bringing to life the story of Pacific Northwest pears for visitors to the festival this fall.
From Sept. 26th Nov. 9th, pears will be featured at the 13th annual Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival, which showcases cuisine from around the globe. Part of the festival will feature a fully interactive pear-themed country fair located in the American Adventure pavilion at Epcot®. The "Pearville Fair" will offer guests a chance to learn about USA Pears from Oregon and Washington, home to 84% of the U.S. fresh pear crop.
With pear growers from Oregon and Washington as guides, visitors to the Pearville Fair will learn first-hand about this key Pacific Northwest export.
Featuring carnival-like games for the whole family, culinary demonstrations, and educational activities, the Pearville Fair offers a PEARfectly fun experience for everyone.

After whetting their appetites for sweet and juicy USA Pears,
guests will have the opportunity to purchase fresh pears of their choice at a kiosk located within the Pearville Fair. Several varieties of USA Pears will be available for guests to choose from, and, with a medium-sized pear offering 6g of fiber (24% DV) and 7mg of Vitamin C (10% DV), they're not only tasty, they're also a healthy option for families.
