For those who will be going to EPCOT while the Garden & Patio Show Flower Power concerts are still offered, make sure to take advantage of the special seating available for DVC (and AP) members. You have to get a wristband at Guest Services (to the left past SE after you enter the park) for the specific show you'd like to see. Shows are 5:45, 7:00 and 8:15.
From tonite thru May 25- Paul Revere and the Raiders are performing. The shows last 30 minutes, but PR&TR often go over the time (two shows tonight were 45 minutes long AND they stayed after to sign autographs). These guys do a great show with lots of very familiar hit songs from the 60's. They have a new lead singer this year- he is Darren Medley, son of Bill Medley from the Righteous Brothers. The rest of the group has been together 30 plus years and Paul Revere is now 66 years old! Great Show.
Beginning on the 26th Arlo Guthrie will perform. We also got to see "The Turtles- featuring Flo and Eddie" and "Eric Burdon and the Animals".
Be sure to get the wristband, as they won't honor your member card at the show- the wristband is required. There is also public seating available if you get there early enough. The programs are free- the wristband just gets you preferred seating in the first 10 rows under the protected area.
Enjoy!
