Ok- now I need some help getting my pictures loaded on here - any tips??
Anyway, Day 3 - Sat night May 6th - we arrive at England, grab a 1/2 yd of beer, then start shopping around. We decide to move along to France before our reservations at Rose & Crown at 7:15. We hit France, and I am loving the Guerlain fragrance shop, however, the fragrance garden was closed.. Anyway, Grumpy bought me a glass of French Champagne, and I was immediately soothed, hehee.. Grumpy got a taster of red wine, and almost immediately, got bumped from behind and the wine went all over the front of his shirt! Not good. So we head back to England, and he was happy to send his stained shirt back to our room in exchange for a David Beckham soccer shirt - BTW, I bought some English candy too since I love Curly Wurly candy bars!
Now, we are lucky to have a few friends with WDW connections, so we get a great table on the patio with a direct view of Illuminations - WOW!!
After Grumpy fills up on fish and chips (he lived in England as a teenager and got addicted to them!) we leave EPCOT. Once out front, Grumpy decides he needs his sports fix, so we catch a cab to the ESPN club at the Boardwalk. We have a blast there and meet some cool people, and guess what? Our server used to work with our WDW friends!! What a small world! Afterwards, we go back to SSR and crash.
By the way, if you have never been to WDW, the TV channels are very limited- think 20 Disney channels, the basic networks, CNN, and ESPN scores. I thought my Grumpy would cry...he was also unhappy that ESPN club was all the way at the Boardwalk - he thinks they should do a sportsbar at Downtown Disney...what do you think?
Tomorrow - we do House of Blues Sunday Brunch, Disney Quest, and DD Marketplace!
