DBF and I will be going to Epcot on Sunday (Jan 8th) the day that the marathon starts and ends there. Has anyone been there during this time? Are the crowds increased? Where do they normally have the finish line? Thanks for your help!!

The have a area roped off around the lake of Epcot and out through the front. You might have to cross the running paths a couple of times but its very easy to do since Epcot is towards the end of the Marathon. The actual finish is out in one of Epcots outer parking lots. There is very little increase in crowds, some but not much since this is one of the slower times of year.

Do be prepared for traffic back-ups as there will be additional buses in the area. I would plan on getting to Epcot early in the am, since starting traffic will be over at 6:30 am, but the ending traffic will not begin until later

thank you! we're planning on eating an early lunch at ESPN around 11, then we're heading through the international gateway. We're just going to drive, because I've heard how awful the bus to and from POR can be.
