Epcot days full in May for AP

Does anyone know why there are so many days in May sold out for AP? And I'm not talking about the days for Gaurdians or Mother's Day. There are bunch in Mid-May that are full as well and just not sure why. No holiday, no ride opening, no food and wine festival, just confused.

Those days are for AP previews for Guardians. Disney held back some reservations since they give the APs that signed up an Epcot park reservation.

open on Monday, April 25, and close on Friday, April 29 at 5:00 p.m. ET or once registration is full.

The dates offered will be:

• Wednesday, May 11
• Thursday, May 12
• Friday, May 13
• Sunday, May 22
• Monday, May 23
• Tuesday, May 24

Are these the days? These are the new dates that will be used for cast and family previews. Maybe they are holding back spots for this?

It's not just for AP folks. Many days in mid-May have Epcot unavailable for regular theme park tickets and resort guests also. - 9,10,11,12,13, 16,18,19, 23,24,26. I was assuming it was for the GotG previews, since the weekends are all green!

yep.. it's the GotG previews, since everyone who signs up for the previews will be issued a park reservation.
