I'd love to know your favorite CS restaurants in Epcot. I'm mostly interested in the quality of the food...but also the variety since there will be five of us. :sunny: Thanks in advance!

I haven't actually eaten here myself, but lately lots of people are posting very positive comments about eating at Sunshine Seasons CS in the Land Pavilion. The menu is here from AllEars: http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/men_ssff.htm
It looks to have good variety and be a good deal if you're on the DP. HTH.

I don't really care for any CS places at Epcot, however, Sunshine Seasons in The Land has always had a pretty decent selection of items. We have not eaten there since it was refurbished, and it does appaear there are different menus.

By far, the best place we ate last week was Seasons. Avoid Electric Umbrella at all costs--it was the most disgusting meal we had the entire week.

I eat a LOT of counter service when I'm at WDW.

Epcot has my favorites, thanks to the huge variety.

For years, the fish and chips at Yorkshire County (in the UK) have been an absolute must-do for me. TIP: Don't get tartar sauce from the outdoor display in 90-degree heat, it will make you SICK!

Recently I have been very impressed with Lotus Blossom cafe in China. I particularly like the Shanghai Chicken and Rice bowl - very tasty, large portion, reasonable price.

I always wind up eating at the Electric Umbrella. I usually get a burger, but they also have a good selection of other stuff. Mostly I like EU for the location - I love to sit on the upper level and people watch as the crowds flow through the breezeway.

The Seasons food court in the Land is very nice, with the best variety of CS food in Epcot. Quality is usually very good, too. The atmosphere is bustling, very much like the food courts in the Value and Moderate resorts.

Tangerine Cafe in Morocco is a great break from the ordinary, but easy on picky and non-adventurous eaters. Try the chicken and lamb schwarma combo plate, it's excellent. - and you can usually hear the Moroccan band playing across the way while you eat.

Make time to walk through the Fountainview Bakery for a dessert or sweet snack during the day. Many people miss this little gem, located on teh opposite side of the Fountain of Nations from Electric Umbrella.

And if you have time, walk out the International Gateway and visit the Fountain eatery, in teh lower level of the Dolphin. They have some great burgers, sandwiches, salads, fries, that sort of thing, and an apple-pie a la mode that is out of this world!

We like the Lotus Blossom Cafe in China - pretty decent orange chicken (not Szechuan) and yummy eggrolls. Lots of food for a decent price....we have even lucked out later in the evening when the prices were slashed. Sitting outside is nice, but they have indoor seating.

The CS at the American Adventure is okay - not too much variety, but the food is not bad. Plenty of outdoor/indoor seating.

The bakery in France is terrific! Croissants, quiche, very yummy pastries! A don't-miss!! :goodvibes

We haven't tried the new CS at The Land. It sounds interesting and the variety is a good bet for the finicky eater.

We did Fountainview Bakery for breakfast one day on our last trip and it was really great!

If you want to experience food in world showcase, great food at CS can be found in Mexico's Cantina de San Angel. This CS is located across from the Mexican pavillion and has excellent wet burritos. China's Lotus Blossom Cafe has great spicy beef and sweet and sour chicken. Germany has a walk up CS for wonderful bratwurst! If you are adventurous try some sushi rolls at Japan's Yakitori House or lamb (like Gyros) at the Tangierine Cafe in Morocco! Don't forget fish and chips in the United Kingdom at Harry Ramsden. All of these places have a variety of menu items! So forget Electric Umbrella for hotdogs and premade patties.

The Sunshine Seasons CS in the Land Pavilion since it was refurbished has nothing we ever want and with all the choices in World Showcase we won't be eating at SS. Don't get me worng before they changed it, it was a great spot for a snack (potato skins, BBQ sandwich, ice cream etc...) now it's grab and go pre packaged stuff and the hot food always looks awful.

I have to disagree with you on this one. It does have some prepackaged stuff but a lot of excellent choices for hot fresh food. The salads are made fresh, and there is a stir fry area with several choices of stir fries, a deli type of area with freshly made deli sandwiches, a rotisserie area with chicken, beef, and salmon, and a wonderful bakery. I can't describe how wonderful Season's is, and I'd recommend it to anyone if you're in the Futureworld area. The kids' meals are good, too.

We liked Sunshine Seasons too. Lots of variety for picky eaters. Just get there early. We ate right at 11 and had plenty of tables to choose from. When we left, people were circling looking for space.

The first time I went to SS it didn't cut it for me and I left. However, I went again this June and got the stir fry. I will return.

I really like the Lotus Blossom in China.

I used to like the Taco Salad in Mexico, but the latest version is just boring. However, if it's really hot I get the kids meal there. Very tasty and not too much foodl

Norway also has a great bakery and shorter lines then France!

Contrary to everything everyone says, we have found the food in Sunshine Seasons to be really bad. We like the Fountain View Bakery, as well as the CS in England, France, and Germany.
