epcot closing at 8pm?

does anyone know why epcot closes at 8pm on Friday's in January? Illuminations is set for 8pm as well.

Basically a cost cutting measure. Also, it seems after the Epcot restaurant hours were over, other for for a few popular attractions (Soarin', Test Track) the crowds really thinned out. Fridays are usually evening EMH, so they will close at 11pm instead of midnight for resort guests. From what I see on the park schedules it's temporary, but with Disney who knows?

I might be the only one happy about this. With a sleepy toddler, I welcome this change to have Illuminations at 8 instead of 9 one night of the week. It's the only way I'll get to see it these days!

They Decided to move EMH to an Hour Earlier . Wich means Everyone else looses an hour. I dont know why they didnt just make EMH 2 hours instead of 3 , they always say " EMH is up-to 3 hrs " why not just cut it down.
Oh well ,what are ya gonna do....
