Hi,

Do you explore Epcot Clockwise or Counter Clockwise? I'm trying to decide....but one half will most likely be at night. Any suggestions?

Also, what is your favorite pavillion and why?

I always do Mexico first but I always think it's better to do Canada first since most people seem to go to Mexico.

We love China and Japan, Germany has the fondest memories for me (DS was just so cute there when he was about 3!) and France has the best desserts. ;)

We start in Canada and end in Mexico, which is my favorite...I love the boat ride (cheesy, but fun, and I love the music) and the food and margaritas at the CS place on the lagoon! :Pinkbounc <--I wish this little guy had a sombrero!

I've never really thought about it until now. But for the past 4 trips we have always gone counter clockwise. For some reason it just feels wierd to think of going clockwise! :scratchin

Future World: we start on the M:S side, then do the JII side.

World Showcase: Start at Mexico, go CCW to Canada - unless we cheat and take a boat!

We have to start in Mexico because my DH is Mexican. It is an absolute rule :rotfl: I would like to start in Canada once just so I could see that side of WS when it is light out :confused3 I've just never seen Canada in the daylight! I love Mexico (of course), Norway, and desserts in France. But I like all of WS.

i tend to start in mexico, just out of habit. my favorite pavilion will always be japan, for the wonderful food and shopping, as well as my own interest in japanese music & culture (i took classes in the language in college). plus the rock garden/bridge area outside of the yakitori house is beautiful.
am a big fan of most of the pavilions though....love the shops in UK, the film in France, the restaurant in Morrocco, the boat ride in Mexico, and the bakery in Norway!! :goodvibes

Clockwise, just don't feel right if I don't start in Mexico :goodvibes

I love Mexico, its such a fun atmosphere, and Norway. GB has a very special place in my heart though, after I spent 3 months in London last year, kinda fun to see an English Pub again :rotfl:

I love all the Pavilions though, about half way through my goal of buying some nonfood item from each!

I almost always start in Canada, but it usually depends on where I have reservations for lunch.

As far as favorites, France is definatly my absolute favorite. I think I like the others pretty equally though.

we always start in mexico its our favourite although we always seem short on time by canada ,so maybe we should start there but i bet we start from mexico :wave2:

We veer left, too....to Mexico. Feels weird to think of going to the right.

If it'd daytime, clockwise. If it's anytime where it's socially acceptable to each fish and chips in the UK then we start counter clockwise and work our way around that way. Heck, we hardly ever get to see anything in Canada because I'm so bent on getting to the counter service fish and chips. LOL

We always start in Mexico. My favorite pavilions are Mexico, Norway, Germany, China, Japan, and UK.

I don't really care much for Italy or Canada because there's just not much to look at there.

We went counterclockwise. My sister did all the planning for our first trip and she read in her guidebook that most people go clockwise, so it's actually less crowded if you go counterclockwise. This was 6 years ago though, so it may have evened out a little more since then.

I'm going to have to say France is probably my favorite...although since it's been 6 years, who knows. But I know that was the one that I was really looking forward to. Having been to France and Paris since then, it's possible that it won't be as exciting for me when we go to WDW in a few months.

I never thought about this until you asked, but if we enter by walking from then entrance to EPCOT we go clockwise. If we enter from the back entrance where you get off the Friendship boats we go counter clockwise. I know that's really strange and I never even realized it unti lright now.

We always go clockwise for some reason, starting at Mexico. I think it's because we're usually coming out of Future World. Our favorite pavilions are Morocco (the restaurant and cafe are great), Germany (awesome buffet), and Japan (several great places to eat, and huge shops). Yes, everything revolves around food for us at Epcot!
