I would like to attend this event this year. I have heard the music from outside the theater but have never had the pleasure to see the whole thing.
We are thinking of using the meal deal where you can get a seat in a reserved area.
But we were also thinking of waiting in line for the show. So for those of you who have waited in the standby line i have a few questions. How long have you waited to see the show, what time did it play at and what day was it??? Is there a better time or day where the standby line isnt as bad, is the line short for the earlier shows and gets worse later??
Any thoughts/comments anyone has on this would be greatly appreciated.

During the week is better than the weekends. I have been pretty successful getting in line about 30 mins ahead of time. They will let you sit on the low brick walls also so quite a few people can fit in the area.

Is it ever cancelled because of rain?

They did cancel a performance last year when I was there due to a thunderstorm. I don't think they cancel if it's just rain.

Most of the seats are not undercover, just the front section. If you get the package, you are not guaranteed seats in the front section. The 3 times I got the package we ended up in the second section not under cover (never rained, so it wasn't a problem).

Last year we were able to get standby seats on a Thursday night at the beginning of the month about 15 minutes before. Alot depends on the narrator. When Wayne Brady did it, he is from Orlando originally, there were large crowds. If it's someone not well known, it's easier to get a standby seat.

Any other opinions out there???
