Let's be honest EPCOT has Maelstrom and El Rio de Tiempo but both MGM and EPCOT need some sort of ride that gets you SOAKED!!!

Agree or Disagree? I think we all can agree MGM needs more rides and it woudn't hurt EPCOT either!

I personally don't ride rides that get you SOAKED. So I say nope, they don't need water rides.

I think it would be nice. MGM is home of the thrills. Why not add a new dimension to that?

Agree. Not a water ride that is ALL water, but maybe something where you get wet a little.

I don't agree that MGM needs more rides. Our family can't do everything in the park in one day now, much less if something else was added. JMO

Always thought if Brazil was to become an area in Epcot's WS, then maybe an educational ride through the Amazon and Rainforest with a "wild" ending would be a great attraction. However after thinking about it, imho a soaking ending doesn't fit into the scheme of things in WS.

MGM needs another exciting ride attraction(on the other side of the park) to help alleviate the logjam that sometimes forms up by TOT and RnR.

A little OT but over in AK. Kali River Rapids could have been so much more. It's over before you know it. :sad2:

Disagree. I hate being soaked during the day, and only do the "Soaking" rides the last thing before exiting the park. Don't think I have even done Kali River Rapids in the last 3 years.

I have no desire at all for rides that get people soaking wet. I am okay with Splash, where you might get a bit wet, but I just don't like the uncomfortable wet clothes feeling of the rides that really soak you to the bone. Kali River looks loke a beautiful ride, but I won't be going on it- unless I would leave the park immediately afterwards.

So, I vote no new wet rides.

Agree: Either a water ride or a play area to get the kids wet, we're going in May and I was already thinking it would be nice to let the kids get wet when it starts to warm up!

Agree. A ride similar to Journey to Atlantis (Sea world) would be perfect. Combination of roller coaster and water ride.

I agree, that's a great ride.

I personally don't care for rides that get me soaked. Wet clothes/shoes are not my idea of fun. I tried really hard to go on Kali a few weeks ago but after the (mild) soaking I got while on Splash, I didn't care to be wet again.
I love rides in boats that go in the water, but don't appreciate the water that comes in the boats.

I agree, that's a great ride
Ditto. Innovative combo ride.
Click to enlarge. DD is probably going to kill me for using this old photo.

I never do rides where you get soaked, or even wet. For example, I do pirates but you have to try hard to get me on Splash (as much as I love the story and sets.)

Something that mists you, yes. Soaks you, no. Maybe a Pinochio ride where the whale blows mist out of his blow hole in Italy.

I agree that MGM needs a blockbuster on the other side of the park from TOT.

I don't see a need for water rides. They're fun enough, but as long as there's more exciting/thrill rides, I could care less if it's in water or not.

I don't like getting wet from rides...it's very uncomfortable for the rest of the day. Don't mind a spritzing, or a little splash, but chafing shorts all day is not that desirable, IMO. Save it for the water parks. I've done KRR twice, and that's enough for a lifetime, thanks.

I tend to disagree. I don't really like walking around wet. I will go on Splash or Kali because it's Disney and I should (and I love them!). But, I'd rather not get wet. Now, I would love it if more countries in WS had rides of some sort.
