We will be down in BCV over the July 4th holiday and are thinking of making Epcot our 4th of July Park visit. We've gone back and forth about the crowds that I'm sure will be there on the 4th, but still don't want to miss any special events scheduled for that day...It's always crowded for the fireworks, and I'm sure it will be doubly so on the 4th...Any idea what "specials" they might be having on the 4th, and what priority seating we might need for the fire works etc, what we should avoid....All opinions are welcome...there are no wrong answers :-P

I am not sure what the schedule is this year... but in the past the Epcot fireworks were 1 hour later than MK fireworks on July 4th. That gave us just enough time to watch them from the "coke corner"... which I think is the ideal spot in MK... and then high-tail it over to Epcot just in time to see the special July 4th display from between the two stores on the Future World side of the lake. I also think that is the best spot for Illuminations.

This year the fireworks in Epcot are scheduled one hour before the fireworks in the MK. We are also spending the 4th in Epcot. The reality is that because the park is so big, it will obviously "feel" less crowded. Can't wait!!

Fireworks in Epcot are at 10 PM. It will be crowded, but Epcot does hold LOTS of people.
