Nothing has been announced yet. Lots of speculation stemmed from the fact that they've shortened the Happiest Celebration on Earth from 18 months to ending on September 30, since October 1 is the 35th anniversary of Walt Disney World.
I'm betting we learn about it in late June or early July. That's when the packages for 2007 should be released, so I suspect the two announcements will be linked in some way.
My understanding is that Disney is going to do a celebreation that is more centralized. What I mean by that for example, the 25th Anniversary for EPCOT or the 10th Anniversary for Toyko Disney or something like that. Which one they are going to do is not know yet but I know they have a meeting in September where all the Sales Reps get together so they can figure out what they need to focus on in the upcoming year of travels and travel shows.
September is a bit late to be addressing a celebration for 2006-2007, so if that is the case, it looks like we'll have a year-without-celebration. That bodes well, in terms of crowds, for those of us visiting in 2007. We'll be there the week before President's Day, so if there really won't be any celebration going on, we should have mostly walk-ons.
The only thing I have seen so far is this unconfirmed report from mouseplanet.com which ran in their March 13 WDW Park Update:
We are hearing that it is a certainty that there will be a new night-time spectacular debuting at Epcot in October 2007 for the park's 25th birthday. No further details are available at this time.
The only unconfirmed rumor I have heard was that they will bring back a parade for the 25th. A cm had told me he was going to audition for it. Take it for what its worth, this was in January.
