I always stay offsite when visiting The World, so I do not have experience with their transit system.

For my March trip I will be going from EP World Showcase to AK After Hours (so sometime around 7:30-8:00). What's the best way to get there via Disney transit? What are wait times usually like for buses and would just taking an Uber save much time/waiting?

Thanks!

There aren’t any buses from World Showcase and by that time of night the buses at the front of the park will be fairly backed up. If you don’t mind the cost I’d use the international gateway exit to walk to the Beachclub lobby and call an Uber/Lyft from there.

From World Showcase, I’d walk out the Int’l Gateway and take a bus from BWI or BC to DAK. Taking an Uber/Lyft from either of those resorts would work too.

If you want to walk to the front of Epcot you could take a Epcot to DAK bus from there.

How are you getting back to your offsite resort later that night? Uber/Lyft?

Thanks. I will be ubering at the end of the night. I think I will just use Uber from Beach/Yacht club then. I wasn't sure how often buses run.

A resort bus from BC to DAK will generally run around every 20’ish minutes, or so (obviously sometimes can be longer, sometimes shorter). You can easily take a look at the bus monitor when you get to the bus stop - if the wait is short might as well take the bus for free. If it’s long or not showing a time, you can decide to Uber/Lyft/Taxi. The bus station and front of the resort are close together so it’s easy to make decisions on the fly based on conditions.
