envelope help with paint shop pro

I tried making some envelopes last night in paint shop pro (to print in word). I am confused because I measured the envelope and set up my new doc to be the size of the envelope. Yet when I imported it into word, my picture was smaller than the size of the envelope.

I have even noticed this within paint shop pro itself. The envelope size I am suing is 3.5 by 6.25 and I will layer another graphic that is a bit smaller than my envelope yet when I copy and paste it in, it looks much smaller. How can a 3 inch size Mickey only take up half the space of my 3 inch tall document?

Any experience with this? I am going crazy...

Hope I can help....
When you open a new canvas, you get the pop up for the size.
maybe you can change that one from pixel to inches.
That way it might be better to fit images because you will have the right size to start with.

also, I never print something straight from my paintshop. I save the file as a jpg to the computer. when in Word, I go to import image, look for the image in the pc and import it into word. that helps me anyways.... you can click on the image while it is in word and you will see arrows around the image, so you can enlarge or shrink the image a little bit.

Yes I've noticed it as well .. and Like Pat said make sure your sizes are set to inches . ALSO .. check the resolution size sometimes it makes a BIG difference. it will off set the actual sizing of an item. Good luck ..

I use Word to make my envelopes, I just import the image, right click on it, click on format picture. In layout click on behind text, this will bring up a box around the image that you can use to adjust the size of the document. I also do a print preview to make sure the placement is correct.

Thanks all for the help. I will hopefully get a chance to work on it this weekend...I just got back from band camp (1st time chapperone!!) so I am exhausted.
