Okay this is a stupid question but I just am not clear on it.

Back in the day we had physical tickets or magic bands.
Our tickets are linked in the DL app.
How do we enter the park? What do we show? Do we bring the physical tickets?

You ticket is now just a barcode...that is all that is needed to be scanned to get into the parks. That can be scanned off the app in your phone, physical printed ticket, or physical card in the case of pass holders...or any combination of them all. They are all now interchangeable.

I personally like operating with a physical ticket in the parks so I don't have to keep pulling my phone out and pulling up the app.

Typically, you can show the tickets on the app. If it is your first time entering a park, they'll take your picture and then you're good to go.

I am paranoid and always bring my paper tickets on the first day just in case there is a snafu with the app.

Okay thanks!
Two tickets are the physical tickets and two are printed off emails with the barcode. Seems like a pain to carry around the printed off email.

They got rid of this for DLR. We can get a paper ticket at most and they want us to pay for it (I've never tried to get one, but I know some were able to get a "first one free" if they went to the ticket booths). We're highly encouraged to just use our app and officially CMs are not supposed to accept a screenshot or a self printed barcode.

Some physical pass cards still have scannable barcodes that function same as paper or digital tickets

I have already linked out passes from the email, do I need to stop at Guest Services prior to entering the park?

Nope, you will take that bar code and go straight to the gates with it. No need to go to Guest Services

Can we exchange the email for a ticket if we wanted to? Doubt we will but just in case,

PHYSICAL PASS CARDS: A Passholder may request a paper Pass card at a Disneyland® Resort Main Entrance ticket booth. A non-refundable fee of twenty dollars ($20.00) may be required to obtain or replace a paper Pass card. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to receive a printed paper Pass card.

I've only known C33 members to still have physical cards. Magic Key Holders cannot use their old existing cards, though. They must use the digital barcode or an officially printed paper ticket (that might cost them $20 to be given).

what about the park reservations QR code. It says to present that each day on entry. Do we really have to take those also?
