Well, I have called several times about Entertainment rates for my reservation in January. Each time, the person I talked to made sure to tell me "to not expect that there will be Entertainment rates - capacity has been good this year and they haven't seen any indication that they will come out." Although, each one told me to feel free to check back.

What do you all think about this???:(

I just called today (1-800-BE A STAR) and there were no ENT discounts yet, but she said they should be loading in the system soon and to check back. When I called a couple of weeks ago, I was told that there might not be any available because we are going Labor Day weekend (except we aren't...we will be checking out Friday morning before Labor Day!) It's maddening to get different answers each time you call. Do they really not know if/when the discounts will be released? It's driving me crazy!!!

I read on another thread that the ENT discounts were released around 11/12 - 11/13 last year, so maybe it will be the same this year. Keep checking back and keep checking here for any word on discounts. I know someone here will post as soon as they are available!

Hi ALL!
When GE/NBC bought Universal I thought that GE,"get every dime policy Co.", may spread to the surrounding vendors.
I was told that Nick-HIFS is not offering ENT rates, rack rates went up, no free breakfast and will have to wait till Jan. before any meal or room packages will be offered.
Loews maybe getting squeezed alittle by GE/NBC.
Therefore, based on your current info maybe "a trend which may not be a freind"!
I hope not !
Only time will tell,

I think the Entertainment rates are only offered if the hotels are booked below 80% or some such number. If the hotels are doing well with bookings, then the rates won't be out there.

I didn't renew my book, and don't think the rates will be there this year. From what I've been reading, the best rate is APH.

Don't forget about the FAN rate as well. I have always seen APH rate be the lowest but this weekend we were thinking about a night at HRH and much to my suprise FAN was about $21 less than the APH rate.

HI ALL!
The point brought up about FAN CLUB CARD DISCOUNT brings to the discussion HOW MANY FAN Club Cards do ALL of the GE/NBC Co.Employees have, GE being one of the largest Co. in the world.
We shall see.

But remember:

"THE MAGIC HAPPENS!!!"

That's the one! I never even bother to look it up most time and was very suprised to see it's rate cheaper than FL resident and APH so it's at least worth the check.
