Entertainment books just dropped in price!

For those who may benefit, you can now get the books for $10 each plus shipping costs. Shipping costs are $5 extra for the slowest way which is 10 to 15 days to you. So, for $15 you can have a book. By the way, all the locations are at this price. The book coupons expire Nov.1, 2004.

It doesn't take long to recoup that amount and then some. I'm an avid user of these books for all our vacations, even those beyond Orlando. For those who can wait til August, there's typically one more price drop if there are books left. They don't do reprints at this price.

I looked at these a week ago but our local book was $30 & wasn't sure we'd get our money's worth. $15 total makes it a deal & there are lots of county park coupons we can use this summer. I'm so excited - this is why I love this place already despite being new!

I asked this last year too, you get one for your own area so that you can utilize it more. The coupons (car rental) are for any area. Not sure what discount you are looking for. We used it for a discount at Universal hotels last year.

OP--thanks for the heads up, I was just going to buy the other day, so am glad I waited.

BTW, they WILL sell out and not be replenished, so don't wait too long.

Just ordered mine this morning. It won't take long to recoup that $15, especially with 3 trips to WDW left for 2004.

Can someone post what the discounts in the book are for car rentals and Universal?

There are so many discounts posting would be impossible. You can go to their site entertainment.com and check out some of the discounts. Mostly the books carries alot of your local discounts (like pizza hut and other restraurants--BOGO) in addition they carry lots of rental car coupons ($20 off, upgrades) for most of the major companies. We used the discount at one of the 3 Universal hotels last year--Portofinio Bay Resport, and saved about $80 a night. You can zip over to the Universal/IOA site and there are more reports on just what kind of hotel discounts you can get.

You can buy this book for a parituclar city/area that contains coupons that give you discounts for car rental, restaurants, hotels etc..in this area. You can see what discounts you can get for a particualr city and buy the book at www.entertainment.com

Okay things like this tick me off. Over a month ago Entertainment books were 15.00 FREE shipping NOW they are 10.00 and you pay 5.00 for shipping. I hate when companies under estimate the intelligence of consumers.
I purchased 3 for the 15.00 rate which comes out the same as the 10 + 5 rate per book.

I got three diff areas and it works great. Thanks to these boards I learned the cards in the front are usable anywhere it is only the coupons that need to be used in the area designated. I have three cards and have used them in my area for a restaurant I like very much. Net savings already 38.00 and that is before I really get into using them in the areas for which they were designated.
ALSO you need to be very careful. Places in Orlando like Ghiridelli and even Bubba's BBQ have coupons that you need to print off line and they are only good for two weeks so you need to do it as close to leaving on your vacation as possible.
