Someone posted on the October 2016 Facebook group I'm in that they spoke with someone over the phone at Dinsey who told them that guests will be allowed to enter at 3pm with party tickets this year. I know CSRs are not the most reliable, but has anyone else heard this?

It is 4pm. If you enter before 4pm it will take an alotment from your regular park tickets. This happened to us where we entered a party 30 seconds before (a runDisney event not MNSSHP or MVMP) and it let us through because it had taken an allotment. Since regular guests could still enter for 2 more hours they scanned your ticket at the wrist band location to make sure you had a party ticket so my fiance and his buddy thought they were all good until we tried to go to the MK the next day. It got fixed but was a headache.

The entry time is 4pm, not 3pm. If it is 3pm it would be officially announced by Disney. Until then, i'd just assume its 4pm. :)

Another vote, no you can not. If you are really lucky and they have all their ducks in order at the gates you may get in at 3:45 but don't ever count on prior to 4.

I mean, they could change it this year if they wanted to, but there hasn't been any announcement or anything. Historically, it's always been 4pm. I know several people posted last year that they lost a day of their tickets be entering at like, 3:40.

I'd dock this one in the internet rumors bay for now.

Also, don't put much stock in what a phone CM says, they get their info from the same place the bus drivers do. ;)

Agree with the PPs that it has always been 4pm. If they change to 3pm, then it will be announced on at least disney parks blog. Last yr there was a marked party line to the right of the main gate. You can't miss it. Just look for the costumes :-) The CMs in party costumes kept us right there until exactly 4pm.

I think a lot of people are still waiting for Disney to officially announce the 4 PM entry. ;)

OP, just curious if by chance someone might have been posting by mistake on that FB group. There are some nights that you can get in at 3 with a party ticket at Mickey's Halloween Party at Disneyland.

Im just going by what has happened in the past....its always been 4pm. But if they are changing it to 3pm, I'd like an official announcement. :teeth:

I'm just saying that since they never "announced" 4 PM entry, your odds of an announcement on a change to 3 PM are really low. Especially since I still think they were talking about DLR.

Oh I see. :) Yes thats true. 4pm entry is never announced. Good point! My previous comment was rather useless then. oh well. I guess we'll have to find out from other guests who attend the first party to tell us exactly when they were able to enter.

In 2013, we used our AP's to get into MK from 2pm. The CM's at the front of the park said we couldn't get in until 4pm with our party tickets but since we had AP's, it wasn't a problem. We were also in costume but we were allowed into the park.

Disney has never made an announcement in regard to getting into the park early with the party ticket but I wouldn't be too hopeful for a 3pm entry time.

they wouldnt have 3pm.. thats when the parade is

I agree with this - it would be a logistical nightmare trying to let party guests in at 3:00M with the FoF parade going right down the middle of main street.

I was first in line for the first party last year and they started letting us in at 3:45. So it could be a bit earlier.

We've been twice, both times they let us in at 4.
