Of the several times we've been to WDW, we always arrive early / for rope drop. What is the parking and crowds typically like entering MK around 12p - 12:30p. Weekday, mid April, not during Easter week.

Yes, it will be busy that time of day..............but for you, FP+ is the perfect tool to enjoy your afternoon. You could book one at about 1, 2, and 3 o'clock and have a pretty cool afternoon. This is one of those somewhat rare occasions where FP+ give you a nice edge over the old FP system.
