Entering Epcot from BCV

Future World in Epcot always opens before the World Showcase, so are you able to enter Epcot through the International Gateway to get to Future World in the morning? If not, how else do you get to Future World early in the morning?? Thanks for any help!!

While we are not the veterans like some folks on this board, we have stayed at BC/BCV a few times.

We love walking thru the International Gateway to Epcot in the morning. In fact, we enter thru the Gateway so often, that the one time we came in thru Future World, it seemed strange.

We take our time walking, stopping to take pictures (like at the totem poles in Canada, etc.), and end up at Future World. Of course, we are always there at the "slow" times, so we can afford to take our time.

Other than more walking being involved, I can't see a downside to the International Gateway entrance, reallly.

Yes, you can enter through the International Gateway at 9am. World Showcase is roped off.

The WS is roped off so that you can't turn left towards France. You can turn right and walk past United Kingdom & Canada towards the FW walkway. They also have it open towards Mexico & Norway if you want to go to the Princess breakfast.

Unfortunately, when you have B-fast @ 8:30 you do have to "go around". It seems way out of the way to get to Norway for the Princess breakfast, but that's what the CM said we'd have to do. I wonder if it would be worthwhile to take the car and park in the Epcot lot? Does anybody know how long it will take to walk from the BCV? CAN you even walk to the front entrance? I admit I'm tempted to cancel- I sort of chanced into the PS, anyway....

I can see why, they have the person who checks off names at main gate. I would say you could probably still go thru the gateway, you just have to walk out to main gate to check in.

As far as using Int'l Gateway.. We always use it to get to Epcot Future World when staying at the Epcot resorts, it is a nice pleasant walk, and in probably not he most efficient use of time, we'd go thru Epcot, catch the monorail to go over to MK instead of the buses. More fun that way.

We used the IG for an 8:20 princess breakfast in April. They have a PS list and check you off. We walked around past UK, Canada, Mexico and finally to Norway. I don't think it was more than 15 minutes walking from BWV (4 adults). You cannot walk to the front entrance from BCV or BWV.

Ok, I would say we've never gone thru before Future World opened at 9am.

You can't turn right to France, but can turn left towards Canada.
