Entering AK

I read a tip online that said to enter AK by going through the gift shop of Rainforest Cafe. Anyone ever heard of that?

Yes,there are tapstiles after you exit the Gift Shop.

It is a good strategy at regular Park Open-it can't be used on AM EMH Park Open because Rainforest doesn't open early enough.

That's what we usually do. Instead of waiting in the pile up of park openers, just veer to the left, walk through the restaurant, and into the park on the side. It's quicker, quieter, and there are cool things to look at in the RFC.
