Enough with Crocs already!

no one and I mean no one is to post, reply, or even think of putting anything on this site that is croc related. If you do post something croc related it will rain everyday of your Dis trip thus soking your feet through the many water inlets these shoes provide.

Listen, Grumpy McBadMood, it did rain for an hour or so on most of the days of our trip and boy were we HAPPY to have Crocs on! The water from the puddles we walked through came right out of our shoes *and our feet were dry within a couple of minutes!*, while all the sorry suckers wearing athletic shoes and socks were complaining about sloshy socks and shoes that were still damp from yesterday's rain, and the brilliant people in flip flops were sliding right OUT of their shoes as they attempted to walk! :rotfl:

I guess us Croc people are a bunch of idiots, huh? :thumbsup2

The correct word you're looking for is "have" not "of." Your sentence should read, "I could not have said it better myself," but I must say, your attempt at an insult was really well played, my friend. Well played indeed.

Or not.

For those of you braniacs that think I am clicking on the threads thats funny. Why would I click on them when I dislike crocs? Every other thread title on this site is croc related. All I am saying is that it is a shame with all the great things Dis has to chit chat about peeps here resort to where they bought there crocs, how many they saw on their trip and what colors. Jees people lighten up you take your footwear way to seriously. :confused3 :thumbsup2

Joke or not, it is a bit confrontational - especially considering you only have 14 posts on the entire board ever. (and that includes all the ones you've posted on this one thread).

People don't like being told what to do - even in jest.

Relax. Enjoy the boards. Ignore all posts with the word Croc in them. Make sure you ignore ALL shoe posts, because people do talk about other styles/types here too.

BTW - DH, who is a diehard tennis shoe person, said his Crocs were the best thing in the world when he wore them at WDW in May! And I agree! I'm on my second pair!

Haha :rotfl2: This is hillarious. I happen to love my croc's- as does my family. I will even be wearing them in WDW on my honeymoon- imagine that :rotfl: . I suppose this turned into another croc talking thread. Way to go everyone. :lmao:

I love my Crocs! I have one pair of athens and 2 pair of Caymans. I bought them for my upcoming Disney trips. Yes, they are not the best looking shoe but they are comfy and feel great after walking and standing for long periods of time.

Oh, and they look a lot better than blistered feet. :teeth:

14 posts or 1400 who cares. I do enjoy these posts quite a bit, especially this one it has given me great amusement. I have recieved 18 pm's about this thread(all in agreance) from some of the "veterans" on this this (some with 3000+ posts) agreeing that this "site is turning from a dis forum to a croc forum". These people I asume are well known here as they didn't want to upset anybody with a public reply. All of you need to stop being so touchy about plastic shoes. On my next trip I will be wearing moccasins, ankle, knee high, I haven't decided yet. Hear me now the moccasin revolution is on the horizon. :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

Interesting thread. I'm not quite sure if the OP was seriously trying to curb people's enthusiasm about Crocs, or to start yet another controversial thread, or was poking a little fun at the Croc-loving threads (however clumsily it was done.) A little of each, I suspect.

At any rate, I agree, Crocs are ugly to me.

As for comfort, there is no way one shoe is going to magically be perfect for everyone. DH's podiatrist would laugh at MOST shoes anybody wears as being bad for the feet. He sent DH to a specialty shoe store with specific instructions as to what type of shoe to purchase for his particular foot problem. Very few options, very few styles, very expensive.

Does that mean that if you DON'T have foot problems that Crocs would not work for you? Nope. Does that mean that if hundreds (thousands?) of others wore them at DL or WDW and for the first time ever had no blisters, no hot spots, no foot pain, that they're a terrible shoe? Not in my book.

Come on. If they don't work for you, don't wear them. If you think they're too ugly to wear, don't buy them. Why be annoyed that other people like them, find them to be very comfortable, and share this information with others? :confused3

As for me, even though I think they're ugly, I'm going to DL for the first time in a few weeks, and don't want to get blisters. So I bought a pair. They're fire engine red. I may look like a dork in them, so be it. hopefully I'll be a comfortable dork! :rotfl2:

My girlfriend is a nurse at a "foot doctor" clinic and blisters most of the time don't come from the shoe you are wearing. They form from not walking much in a day to doing on the average of 5+ miles a day at WDW. Crocs are very suitable for a lot of people (i.e wide design allows foot to swell). Doctors have also told patients to stop wearing crocs because of there lack of support. Man it sure is interesting what this thread has morphed into. Keep'em coming, I can go all day or until I go back to work. :thumbsup2 :smooth:

This thread is making me chuckle (and groan). Bliss was being funny. They're shoes. If you like 'em, great. If you don't, don't buy 'em. It's Disney, people. :grouphug:

Croc wearers the new sheep of the fashion industry LOL not much fashion there though LOL.

Thank you Kitsch4, this whole thing was taken way to seriously. If you can't find time to laugh at yourself and laugh at others you have a big problem. Laughing is the best thing you can do for yourself and others. Read this thread and laugh don't be offended about shoes that you can recycle. :thumbsup2 :rotfl2: :yay:
