We want to do Sea World and Discovery Cove. Here's our current plan. We'll be at Disney from Feb. 12-18 and then we're going to the Doubletree by Hilton for the 18-20. We have DC tickets for the 19th and want to do Sea World the 18th and before we leave on the 20th. Will these two partial days be enough? My son loves sea life, and is very excited for the dolphin encounter at DC. Because of this, we are assuming that we mostly want to do shows at SW. Besides Shamu, what are some of the best shows? Should we include a tour also?

Thanks!

Here's what we did Thanksgiving Weekend:

Closed down Discovery Cove Friday after Thanksgiving (5:30p), headed over and closed down Sea World that night (11p). Then finished up with Sea World on Saturday. We saw MOST everything and did one ride (don't remember which one) and Polar Express. Of course, there were more shows because Clyde & Seamore had a Christmas version and there's an ice skating show.

That would be plenty of time. If he's really interested in the animals then prepare to spend plenty of time in the different aquariums. Take him by the dolphin pool on the 18 at SeaWorld and let him see the dolphins and watch them play, get him excited for Discovery Cove. Also take him by the dolphin nursery.

The shows can be cool, but if he's really interested in the animals the aquariums and closer observation will really interest him, probably more than the shows, which are just that, shows.
