Ok OK so I have been back since new years eve and haven't done my trip report untill now!!!!!

well let me tell you something......On arriving back home and getting over jet lag I then moved house from Exeter in Devon to St Austell in Cornwall! This has resulted in a pain stainking wait to get connected to the internet!!!!!!!!

finally I am connected :thumbsup2

So here comes the trip report as promised

People on the trip

My self and my partner, two young (23 and 22) adults who really should know better.

Partners, sister (20) Mum and Dad (40-50) Auntie and uncle (30-40) and two cousins (7 and 9)

where did we all stay?

A villa in kissime

How long where we there?

14 days two of which were taken up with travel :sad2:

Thats the basics dealt with so here goes the good stuff!!!!!!!! :yay:

What Disney tickets?

I personally bought (well in advance) a 14 day ultimate ticket which for me was the best deal

Day 1
Friday 16th december, arrive at villa after 10 hour cross atlantic flight, 2 hour wait at Atlanta airport, two hour connecting flight to florida and then what felt like days to pick up the rental car and finding the villa!!!!

We were all shocked at the sheer size of the villa and quickly choose are bedrooms. With little enthusiasm due to exhaustion we perused some disney flyers and decided to journey to Magic Kingdom the following day.

Day 2
Saturday 17th december.....WOW, finally after waiting all this time I was back in my favourite place in the world!!!! The family split up arranging to meet back at cinderella's castle later in the day.

I go off with my partner and his sister...so all the young adults together off to find all the thrills available to us.

Fast pass for space mountain then on the train round to frontier land to ride big thunder and splash mountain. back on the train stop at toon town to ride the barnstormer for old time sake.

We use our fast past for space mountain and enjoy the feeling of smugness as we pass all the standby que'ees :teeth: ......by now it is time to meet back with the family, on the way back we notice "stiches escape" this ride is a new one to all of us so we jump in the que.

No knowing what to expect I was absolutely pant wettingly frightened on this experience!!! purely cause I hate the dark and that all the way through I was expecting something to happen.....rollercoaster like...it didn't...and I have to admit I was dissapointed. Still appreciated the effects, just wish I had known more about the thing before I went on!!!!

So back to the castle to meet family and watch the snow globe parade...which I have never seen before and I was well and truely impressed! after this we split up once more and did some more rides...some more gentler rides and old time favourites.....oooh and for the first time I watched PHILLARMAGIC

OH MY GOD this show is great!!! the effects are sooooo much better than those of muppet 3D and the smell'o'vision is ace!!! loved every minute. We stayed quite late and managed to see spectromagic but unfortunately the weather was way too foggy for wishes so we left 5 minutes in to head for home and of course we stopped for food on the way!!!!

Ok time to test that this has worked and continue the story in another thread.......thanks for reading....more to come!!!!! perhaps I will be able to add pictures by the end!!!! :teeth:

great start, looking fwd to more!!!!(AND THE PICS TOO) :thumbsup2

Great report :cool1: Keep it coming!! By the way, how was the stopover in Atlanta? We're looking into flights for our October trip and we can get a good deal on Shannon (Ireland) to Orlando via Atlanta. Thanks again for the report! Can't wait to hear more.
