Thanks to everyone who has posted...My family and I still have not a final decision yet! Although I would LOVE to go to England...The Caribean is WAY warmer and has sun. But England is a once in a lifetime thing, and I would get to visit a few friends and their families if we went. I don't think either decision will be bad though! Thanks for the posts!

I would choose the Caribbean. I have always loved the beach. I also hate being cold, which I hear England is.

I live in England, and honestly, its not that great! If your into history and culture then its great, also great if you love the theatre. However it is mostly cold and wet (although we are having a heat wave atm) and it is ridiculously ex*****ve (compaired to America) over here. There are some great places to go, but it depends what you'd do here. If you need any ideas of what you can do, message me and i'd help. Personally i'd go for the carribbean

I would say the Caribbean

to me England, like the rest of the UK has it's beauty but the congestion in cities like London and Manchester If you go, stay well clear of rush hours.

Depends where you go and when you go on the weather front, but it does rain a lot, less so in the south (although it's normally up north that has better scenery) So invest in a raincoat and warm clothes, but also take some summery-ish things if you do go. If you really want to freeze, come up to Scotland

Also you'll find that the UK as a whole is more expensive than the States, when we go to the US i'm like "Omg so cheap!" and get a shock when i come home and find out that the top i bought in Gap for $4 (£2- £3.50 or something) is like a tenner over here
The shopping is good though, and there's lots to do

Caribbean hands down. I love it there. The weather is great, there is always so much to do and there's beaches and shopping. The weather is comfortable and it's a good way to get a tan. It's a really great vacation. I've been to the Caribbean 4 times, and there's still a ton of things I can do that I haven't.

Then again, I haven't been to England, but I still had a lot of fun in the Caribbean and I'd go there
