Engagment Photo Shoot

How do you go about booking an Engagement photo shoot/session? Who do you contact and how much is it? My fiance and I are getting married on DCL in Nov but I would like to have an engagement photo shoot done somewhere on disney property. TIA!

If you want an engagement session in Epcot you would have to contact Disney Photography.

But if you just want a session around a resort I would go with an outside vendor because they are much cheaper!

I just had my engagement session at GF and WP with David and Vicki Arndt. Here's my link to the sneak peak pictures and here's a slide show they did for us. They are amazing!! My engagement session was $200 for two hours and we got soooo many great shoots.

Me and DF both loved them and will be using them for x-mas pictures and of course our wedding!!

Oh and a session with Disney is around $310 for an hour. So they are more expensive and the session must be done early before the parks open. Wasn't ideal for us to have less time for more money and early in the morning when we weren't totally awake yet.

This actually is incorrect. The engagement shoots are only done when the parks are open (or let me rephrase)...

Because World Showcase doesn't open until 11am you can be in the park for engagement shoots before the park is open, only for Bridal Portraits do they do them in the parks before opening (AK, DHS and of course....MK)

Another question...If do a photo shoot at GF or one of the hotels on the property do you still have to pay for park admission or how does that work?

WP is wedding pavilion. If you do a photo shoot at the hotels you do not have to pay for park admission. I'm doing my engagement pictures with The Arndt's too because I love Amanda's pictures. The $200 also includes your DVD with all your pictures and the rights to print them. I'm so excited, but have scheduled it for the fall because I want to lose some weight first.

When I booked my photographer I asked about an engagement shoot and they are doing it for free since I booked them for my wedding as well. I also get a C-D of the pictures. I would choose you photographer for the wedding, (If you haven't already), and ask about it when your almost ready to book.

Thanks we are actually getting married on DCL at Castaway Cay so we will be using one of the ships photographers for the wedding ceremony and reception but I would love to do an engagement photo shoot at Disney at the GF, Polynesian, Fort Wilderness,or all! =)
