Engagement Photos at Beach Club?

Hi Everyone! I'm new to the wedding section of the boards as I just got engaged last week we will be in Disney next week (this sunday-thurs) and I want to get engagement photos done while we are there. I know it is very last minute but I already called and they have availability, my only question is do I get them done at Yacht & Beach Club? We always stay there & consider it our "home" at disney or do we get them done in Epcot? I havne't been able to find any YC/BC engagment/wedding photos online, but I have seen some from Epcot which are stunning! Please send any advice you can as I have to make this decision in the next 24 hours!

Well the answer depends on who is doing your engagement photos, if it's disney fine art photography than I say go for the Epcot photos because it's one of the only times you'll be able to get a professional shoot in the parks whereas you can have a Yacht and Beach club shoot with another outside photographer anytime.
Personally, I'm overly attached to the Boardwalk as it is my DVC Home Away from Home for over 10 years now and I would love nothing more than a shoot around the area but it's just all personal preference. Either way Congratulations and have fun

I think I'd probably get them done at EPCOT if you are hiring a Disney photog simply because I'd like professional pictures in the park.

Like the PP mentioned before, you can get professional pictures taken any time at the Beach Club/Yacht Club!

We did our last portrait session through Disney weddings at the Yacht and Beach Club. Our photographer was great and really got a lot of shots around the resort (lighthouse, in the courtyard, by the ship at Stormalong Bay, lobbies of YC and BC, outside the BC where the old fashioned cars are, and on the beach). We did the 20 minute session and walked away with about 60 photos. I would definitely recommend the BC/YC. We love the atmosphere there and you'll get a lot of great photos!

not to go in a different direction, but are you thinking about using disney for your wedding photography as well? we did e pics with the folks we wanted to hire for our wedding - trial run and all that.

There is a gallery on the website you posted the link for. I found sessions that look like maybe they are on yc/bc property.
