End scene in “Jungle Cruise”. (Caution: spoiler alert)

We thoroughly enjoyed it. It was the fun, popcorn movie it was meant to be. Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt had excellent on-screen chemistry.
We saw it yesterday-first time to a theater since December of 19-Streaming is okay but the theater is nice. Jungle Cruise was just the right vibe-campy, and fun but we did not expect anything else so it was perfect.

Agree with you both - we saw it yesterday in the theatre. It really was just a fun movie, which I was just in the mood for!

We saw it in 3d .... so worth it !!
There was about 5 or 6 family groups we were all socially distant.
I had to leave my mask sort of loose so the 3d glasses did not fog up. Everyone in my county wears there mask with out being told to. Probably good since I live in South Florida.

My son and his friends did that family showing at Cinemark. He says he really likes it.

Here's a tip from a glasses wearer - use a peice of first-aid tape across the top of the mask. That will prevent fogging as your breath will be forced through the mask and not up toward your eyes. I have done that at movies and Disney and such and it works great!

Love this, they were the 3d glasses I should have thought about it prior.

I that the movie was perfect, summer, Disney fun. Loved the corny jokes at the beginning but wondered if people who don't know the actual Jungle Cruise would appreciate them as much. The plot was insanely over-wrought, especially with the over-done German Nazi line, but it wasn't meant to be serious.

FYI, if you hate snakes, don't go to a 3D showing.

The corny jokes are what connect it to the ride and I think even if you are not familliar with that, they make a nice character trait for Frank since he's really the only one who makes them.

Also, the movie is set in 1916, so they are not Nazi's but rather from the German Empire under Kaiser Wilhelm.

Wife and I saw it at the theater yesterday and thought it was a fun movie. We love going to the movies instead of watching these at home (just can't beat the big screen). We went to be entertained, not enlightened, and it didn't disappoint!

How can you have Jungle Cruise without "dad jokes"? That's rhetorical...you can't!!

Family movies, especially where kids under age 12 would love to attend, shouldn't be expected to do well at the box office before the kids have a chance to be vaccinated.

This. We saw Jungle Cruise last night and loved it, but we were the only family with kids in the theatre and our youngest is 13 and fully vaccinated. The rest of the audience (of only about a dozen people) were older couples and a small group of developmentally disabled adults. Normally at our small town theatre, families with younger kids are most of the audience, to the point where all three screens are often dedicated to kids/family movies and I have to drive into the city if I want to see the latest horror flick or Oscar-buzz drama. But this summer, families with kids don't seem to be going to the movies and the owner has shifted to keeping at least one more adult-oriented film at all times as well as prioritizing movies with mixed-age appeal like Jungle Cruise and Black Widow over strictly kid movies like Boss Baby.

For those of you that streamed it, is there an option to download and watch offline? Or do you have to be connected to internet? I can't tell from Disney's site. Thanks!

There is a way to save for offline viewing on Disney+ for supported devices. I would think you should be able to for Premiere Access titles too, but I am not 100% sure.

BTW was that Metallica Nothing Else Matters I heard in the movie? It was a moving version.
If you have Spotify that version is on there :) I may or may not have already downloaded it and listen to it a bunch lol I have Metallica's version on one of my playlists too but the Jungle Cruise version is good for a certain mood

We saw it about a week ago in theaters. We laughed a ton. I think there's an appreciation when you've ridden the ride. You get more of the connection and you know it's intentional to be corny at times and eye-rolling. I loved the back side of water part (such a big part of the ride). The movies did have some randomness thrown in but when you go in knowing it's not intended to be a serious movie and just more of a fun adventure you don't mind some of the randomness.

For those wondering, even when you download it, you have to be connected to internet to watch it, I continue to be unimpressed with Disney+'s app:(

Oh, that's lame. Isn't the point of downloading it to be able to watch it when you don't have Internet access, like on an airplane? I mean, if I had Internet access, I'd just stream it!

Huh, that doesn’t seem right. What’s the point in downloading it then? I downloaded the whole Loki series and watched it on a plane to and from and didn’t have any issues

This is the first movie I've downloaded and not streamed, I actually wasn't able to access the app at all until I was online, tried on two different devices. I guess it's possible I did something wrong, but it think it's weird it was on both devices I logged onto.

Maybe it is something with the movie because my kids download things to watch all the time for long car rides and they don’t have internet on their iPads.

I just downloaded it, turned off my WiFi and it played. You do get a warning you’re offline but it plays.

What devices are you using? Are you by chance trying to watch Disney+ through Apple TV+? My DH can never get that to work.
