End of the Night festivities

We are frequent Disney goers and are going back to Orlando the last week of April. Looks like we will hit Disney Tuesday and Friday with a waterpark trip on Wednesday.

We are trying to cram as much as possible into the two park days. Our kids are teens so open to close and commando style is no problem.

We have hoppers and are staying on premises and plan to take advantage of the EMH. That puts us in Epcot Tuesday night, MK Friday morning and HS Friday night. We plan to spend the bulk of Tuesday in Epcot, especially with the Flower and Garden festival going on. Not sure if we are going to hit AK or Mk Tuesday morning. Also expect bulk of Friday to be spent in MK.

Unfortunately, with this schedule we probably miss Wishes and the end of night festivities at Mk. We were actually going to skip HS this year because so much is closed but I keep reading about how the Star Wars fireworks are amazing (and I don't need much a push to see Fantasmic). I just had some questions:

1) I read that Disney is changing the end of day Star Wars fireworks. Have they gone through other changes? Is the current one the one that everyone is raving about?

2) with evening EMH, do they stagger Fantasmic and the Star Wars fireworks?

I picked fastpasses for MK for the middle of the day on Friday (we'll get there before it opens but use the passes when it gets busy). I'm concerned that the lines during the HS EMH might still be really long. We usually go down during February and the park is open late so we do EMH at MK until 1 in the middle of the week. I've read that the EMH at HS get really crowded. I was thinking about dealing with the crowds at MK and switching the Fastpasses to HS in the early evening. Otherwise, we will just deal with the lines for TOT and Rock and roller coaster and and jump on the TSM line right before the park closes.

1a) This summer is when the new fireworks show debuts.
1b) Nope. But, on April 4th they will be adding a stage show and march of the stormtroopers.
1c) Since the current one is the only one anybody has seen...

2) There is no direct relation to PM EMH and Fantasmic! or the fireworks.
But, on April 29, 2016, F! starts at 9PM and SW Fireworks start at 9:45PM.
3) A valid concern.
4) Yup.
5) Always a possibility.
