End of October trip ~ Weather??

Can someone please give me some insight on Orlando weather the end of October?

We will be there Oct 28 ~ Nov 2

Unsure what to pack...last year we were there the beginning of October and it was still very hot and humid. I am assuming a month later it wont be as humid, but do I still just pack shorts for the kids?

We usually go every year around this time. I love it..weather can still be very hot...so shorts is a definate as well as swim suits for the pools. I usually pack all shorts for my son and I and throw in one pair of pants and a sweatshirt for a cool evening.

Pack shorts and jeans, early morning and evenings will probably be cooler. But daytime temps were still fine for shorts when we went that time of year.

Pack some long sleeve tshirts or a light jacket. We did not pack one and ended up having to buy sweatshirts because a cold front moved in for a day or two.

I've gone a few times. It's really a crap shoot as far as weather. What we typically do is check the weather frequently before our trip and pack accordingly. Definately bring a pullover or two, jeans, etc. The nights can get a bit chilly.

Days are usually gorgeous & can get pretty warm - even hot, but mornings & evenings can be very cool. Shorts & t-shirts for during the day, but sweaters or light jackets are usually a must for early & later on. Don't forget the sunscreen, also -- even if it's cooler or overcast.

We always go over the last weekend in October....it is usually always hot --- even in looking at all our pics I don't see any of us in sweaters or anything. I did take jeans and pants, but mainly for dining purposes not for weather. I don't think we've had a cold October in a while.

We usually go around that time of year. The weather is usually very good, not horribly humid, but can get hot. My in-laws found it too hot for them, but they aren't used to weather much above 70 degrees. One year though we did get a lot of rain, but that was back in 1999...it was still hot though!!

Is the end of October weather as bad and as HOT as the beginning of June? We went in the beginning of June this year and it was HOT and humid! Also rained because of Tropical Strorm Alberto ! We are planning for October next year, so just curious as to how weather compares to June....

I was there the last week of October last year. It was hot except the day of Wilma and the day after. Ended up having to buy some warmer clothes. Never realized the cold front that follows a hurricane.

We went last year and never used our pants and sweatshirts. We are going again this year and hopefully won't have to use them this year either.

We'll be there at the same time. We had two previous trips at this time. Can still be warm and humid, but much better than early Oct or July.
