DH and I have always gone down to WDW the middle of March and want to try something new...how is the weather the last part of Nov? We really would like to be able to swim while down there, so before I start planning thought I should check with you folks first. Haven't been down since March of 2003 and that year we took our camper down...had a good time, but this time will just drive and stay in a Disney resort. Also, when do the Xmas decorations start going up? Will also be eager to see what is growing that time of year. So happy to be planning another trip...we just finished building a house and need to take a break, the only way we can do that is GET AWAY...far, far away!!! What better place to go!!! :earseek: Nance

The end of November through the beginning of December is a great time to go. The decorations go up in stages starting at the beginning of November with the resorts. The weather can vary, so I would pack some warmer clothes (sweatshirt & pants) with your shirts & shorts. When I went in 2002, they had a cold snap and it was pretty chilly early in the morning & evening. Saw alot of people who were standing waiting for the monorail in t-shirts and shorts freezing, then running to the stores once they entered the park to get sweat shirts & pants. When I went in 2003, it was cool at night and early in the morning, but was in the 70's during the day. Make sure to take time out and visit the Grand Floridian, the Wilderness Lodge, the Boardwalk, and the Yacht & Beach Clubs, as their decorations are amazing. Also, I would book a Candlelight Processional dinner package. This allows for preferred seating, you get a great meal, and the CP is just a beautiful event. I'd skip MVMCP, as most days it's packed. As far as staying on property, if your budget allows, definitely stay at the Wilderness Lodge. It is the best!!!
