Last year, we took a last-minute trip to WDW the week after the 4th of July. We were expecting mobs of people, but found it very manageable.

This year, we're going at the very end of July through the first of August.

Do the crowds typically decrease through the month of July, or is there a surge right before school starts? (That's the basis for our timing, as I am a teacher.)

We have been there at the exact time last year and we are going again at that time this year also, we find that with a little planning it's not that bad.

Get up early enough for parc openings or morning EMH, use fastpass, and get the most done before lunch. Go back for a swim at the hotel or have a nice air conditioned lunch.

We plan on taking things easy in the afternoonbut we are probably not going back tu the resorts, We will be itting the airconditioned shows, and shopping 'til dinnertime.

We will be there to hope its not to bad. Went last year inaug and found it manageable with some planning :sunny:

I hope it's not that bad either. I've been in August and with planning you will be fine.
