How important are fast passes? I was able to book my fast passes last night but I am wondering how important are they at that time of year? With the tier system I feel like I may not even use some of them. I tried to pick the big attractions, spread out between the days we are there. We are not big parade people and I have the only kid in the world who did NOT like Frozen so no interest in any of that.

With the unpredictability of crowds over the last couple of years (many levels have been much higher than in the past) nobody can predict your exact needs for FP.

Except for President's Day weekend (Friday thru Monday), I would say that late January is not ridiculously busy.

Anna & Elsa, Mine Train, Toy Story Mania.....those are the main ones that I would choose to lessen the amount of wait and because it is only by pure rare luck to get those same day.

I've been twice in January. Weekends are still busy, middle of the week won't be bad. I had one day last January where it was a rainy and cold Wednesday. We were at MK and it was a beautiful ghost town! Walked on everything.

Saturday of that same week, still rainy but not as cold, and rather crowded. I wouldn't call it insane by any means, but even small world had a 20 minute wait.

I would keep your fast passes in place if you already have them booked. If you end up not needing them, then great. But you are better off having them in case you do need them.
