What does that mean to you? I have a friend who has lupus and diabetes.

I am not sure. Could be that her Lupus is under control, or a more negative meaning. Some with Lupus have very good results with antomalarials that they stop having flares.

I think maybe a negative thing. I know her diabetes(which she only recently was diagnosed with) is out of control with #s in the 300s to 500s. Her lupus flares are almost nonstop. Her docs told her it could be anytime..

Having worked in hospice we use that term to explain sympthms and progression of a disease when it is at the end stages not used in good terms for us.
