End of April, beginning March- Crowds and Weather????

Since the board seems to be inundated with requests for information (weather/crowds) for a certain timeframe, I thought I'd follow suit:

We're arriving the 25th of April, to the May 4th. This is the weekend after Easter.

I gather that the Friday crowds could be a little messy, and that the weather will be getting a little hot, but it was my theory that the week after Easter will be completely uncrowded.... Anyone been there at that time who could share information with me???

We have been there the last week of April through the first couple of days in May in 2000 and 2002 and again this year. We love it. Crowds are light, weather is warm but comfortable morning and night while hot during the middle of the day. I found it to be our favorite time of the year.

I hope you're right, because I'm going with the same theory next year! We want to do the Western cruise in spring 2004 and the choices are april 24th or May 8th. I figured May would be busier, as some schools start to let out by then.

we've been going the first week of may since '97 and it has to be one of the nicest times of the year at WDW. it's warm, but not exceedingly humid, and the crowds are very manageable; not as light as the fall, but way lighter than easter or summer!

I was worrying that my calculations might be off. I have been there during March break madness and during President's week, so this should be nice.
